PPiA Fellowships

The Public Policy in Action Fellowships is designed as a win-win opportunity for bringing young talent to
work while embedded inside the government to benefit from new skill sets, perspectives and linkages.
It’s an invaluable experience of working inside the government and be mentored by the best.

The fellowship intent is to present a strategy for India’s public administration to
bring short-term high- quality dedicated professionals, especially in
resource-starved geographies to augment capacity gaps by enhancing efficiency

and effectiveness of implementation within a clear outcome framework. These
efforts are complemented by ‘nudge units’ that deliver expert technical

assistance to large government program backed by rigorous ‘evidence
generation’ to provide continual feedback on the impact of key policies. We
believe that this approach, along with a robust sustainable exit strategy will be a

critical lever for catalytic action for rural India.
