Why we believe in the TRI Way
Because it works!
The effectiveness of our approach has been
validated by independent assessments. As
we grow, we will continue to gather more
evidence of its success.
When we started, we identified a reporting
gap among development organisations and
decided to prioritise results reporting. We
established a baseline in all field locations and
completed an annual dipstick reporting in our
first operational year, which was promising
and validated our Theory of Change.
Our engagement validation has been further
reinforced by third-party endline
assessments, both qualitative and
quantitative, in two of our larger projects.
In most grant-funded projects, typically
three-year durations, we have met our
deliverables. Unfortunately, due to limited
resources, we were unable to continue with
third-party annual results reporting
The progress made in the first set of pilots
from 2016-2020 validates this premise.
Independent assessment shows substantive
gains in the adoption of IYCF practices, food
diversity, use of toilets, access to health and
nutrition services, and improvement in
learning outcomes. Productivity and income
gains reveal an encouraging shift in the
proportion of households in the bottom
quintile and top quintile.
The resonance of stakeholders, across the
community and public agencies, has been
affirming. As the first point of contact for

In the past, we had shared highlights from the first
