The PMU majorly works in improving the health services in the district, providing
Engagement Objective better nutrition to the children, facilitating cash crop farming, improving livelihood
Chhattisgarh 33 Strategy and Programme Assistance Unit(SPAU) aims to support the Panchayat & opportunities, improving the quality of teachers in schools, setting up of Halfway

Kondagaon, enhancing the Social Media engagement of the district, providing better
the delivery of focus programmes by designing various approaches, assisting in the grievance redressal mechanism for people of Kondagaon and strengthening other
adoption of best practices, and by supporting research and analysis; by bringing public service delivery mechanisms. Other major contributions by the PMU team have
market players for the supply of value chain.To help in developing strategies for been towards effective governance-related guidance, acting as an interface
strengthening Panchayati Raj Institutions and Community based organization, (CLFs, between Administrative Departments and development agencies, suggesting
VOs, and SHGs) to become highly effective modes of civic service delivery and local methods for convergence of budgetary and extra-budgetary resources, designing
self-government. development and welfare schemes, project proposals and implementation
mechanisms, conducting periodic monitoring and evaluation of programmatic

SPAU P&RD is divided into three subnodes i.e. SRLM, MGNREGA & Panchayat.

Orientation of State, District and Block level trainers on Mahila Lakhpati Initiative,
District Livelihood Potential Mapping. ToT on Lakhpati Didi Income Survey, VPRP tool, Engagement Objective
GPDP portal, GRC.Supporting CGSRLM in establishing the process for the initiative Chhattisgarh 33
based on the guidelines released by MoRD. Notification/ circular released to districts. Technical assistance and policy support to the State Planning Commission around
Govt of Chhattisgarh's flagship programmes - Rural Industrialisation(RIPA),
Focus on Sub Sector Intervention, product based clusters identified, integrated with Universalization of Livelihoods(NGGB) and Agri - Nutrition (Millet Mission)- by
AAP 2023-24. Under the International Year of Millets & convergence with Mahila providing design support & co-creation of an implementation strategy.
Lakhpati Initiatives, Millet cluster has been identified. ToT conducted in 2 districts and
planned for others.
