Women Community Champions Taking Lead in the Transformative Journey of their
Village Children
VOs and ECVs collectively extended the scope of education work, making it a part of the community’s vision
in 1181 villages. Out of 2300 ECVs, 1696 didis continuously engaged with education issues and work in
1181villages. Hand-holding support to the Change vectors and Community institution members has turned
up so well that education from the individual domain shifted to collective cognizance of community. 369
Mother committee with 2366 mothers have been active in more than 300 villages. The community along
with the schools and panchayat now involved in school functioning and celebrations of events in schools
such as - Balamela (504 villages, 4710 children from 421schools), Libraries (304 villages), Parent and SMC
meetings (636), 17420 children celebrated children's day in 820 villages. These activities and interactions
motivated the teachers and parents and helped them understand each other better. This space of
collaboration has emerged out as Space for bridging the trust: sensitizing and collective working with
trust and new hope.

Parents Supporting Children Study at Home
Education Change Vectors (ECV) engaged with Parents
to recognizance support in children learning at home.
24687 children regularly sitting at home for study at
least for an hour. For supporting study at the home rich
environment is created through, “Seekho sikhao”
“active and attractive classroom initiatives. Collective
Teaching Learning Material (TLM) making exercise
(seekho sikhao-Raidih, shikaripara TLM exercise 1163
schools) supported in developing understanding and use
of TLMS in class and at home.
