We have leveraged our experience in major rural, poverty-facing national programs1 in India,
demonstrating workable solutions that make a deep impact in reducing rural poverty, increasing gender
equality and deepening democracy in the rural landscape.
Our community footprint has enabled us to be the partner of choice for many national and international
agencies. We work with the global Defeat-NCD3 Partnership and have a formal memorandum of
understanding with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). We also bring in
international program to India like the Global Opportunity Youth Network.
In the past year we further deepened our work with the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) and
the State Rural Livelihoods Mission (SRLM) to co-develop with the Ministry of Rural Development the
ambitious 25 million Lakhpati Mahila program. We have formal arrangements with state governments in
Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh to implement comprehensive livelihood
initiatives.
Our multipronged approach with Panchayats together with Women Collectives has been recognized
nationally for “Multi-sectoral Development ” aligned to SDG 2030 and the learning are being integrated in
