Dr. D.K. Singh

Dr DK Singh had taken charge of BIT Sindri in 2017 and made the institution the second-best engineering college in the country as per the 2022 survey of the All-Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Besides it, BIT Sindri emerged first in East Zone Engineering College ranking competition 2022, first prize in the IFAT India Trade Fair University Challenge competition held in Mumbai in October 2022 and became a champion in Eastern India Geo-Mining Technocrats Fest (MINARS) held at NIT Rourkela, 2023
Dr DK Singh was the first vice-chancellor of Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University (2017 – 2018) as he was given an additional charge alongside being the director of BIT Sindri and recently IIT ISM appointed him as a Senate member.
