Ranchi: Bharat Affordable Health Fund for Technology and Infrastructure Improvement along with Transform Rural India Foundation (TRIF) on Tuesday launched a Rs 200 crore dedicated fund titled Bharat Health Fund for treatment of cancer patients in the state. The initiative was announced at Indian Rural Colloquy. The event was organised by TRIF in collaboration with Xavier Institute of Social Service on the occasion of Nelson Mandela International Day.
The event was aimed to empower rural communities, inspire policy attention, spur investments, and promote equity and vibrancy in villages. Topics discussed included unlocking ‘yuva shakti’ for Jharkhand – mitigating structural barriers faced by rural youth, health – listening from communities, climate resilient prosperity ( high income livelihood) models.
